![]() Honestly, that is just "One More THING!!!" that makes us hardcore Apple users HATE APPLE and their expensive HOA fees to live in their ecosystem, because they give you just enough "Windows Support" to sucker you in to buying something that you think apple is going to support like their i device's software. Furthermore, after using the advance touchpad drivers on my MBP, I not realize that Apple giving us windows support was a sick joke, because they could spend 1 hour developing a better driver package for the MBP running windows 10. ![]() As far as the Thunderbolt 3 working properly in windows, sometimes it stops responding for minutes or days at a time and I have no I/O anymore.īottom line is, Apple only supported Windows on the intel machines until they came out with the new model (each year), and if anything else changes in Windows that affects the driver package, they never made any fixes or updates. Then if you do install aftermarket touchpad drivers to get actual multi touch support and gestures (which are fully working and built into Win 10), if you close the lid, the computer encounters a fatal error that corrupts the hard drive and had to run CHKDSK at start up to resolve. The wonderful track pad on the 2017 MBP is garbage and nearly unusable unless you install advanced track pad drivers. The current WiFi drivers don't work on 5 GHz, so I am limited to 2.4GHz speeds on my Gigabit internet connection. My bluetooth drivers work some of the time. I have a 2017 MPB high end model, and I have had nothing but headache trying to run and/or restore a system with Dual Boot MAC/WINDOWS. ![]() Yeah, they "run" windows, but don't expect anything to ever work properly. Someone quoted an Apple Keynote where they said "Mac's Run Windows better than Windows Machines" and I would like to add to that slightly. ![]()
